A BRIEF QUESTION

We are babysitting a goldfish over the weekend for a family. While I'm not experienced in this venture, it doesn't seem to take all that much talent. However, I have this question: do any of you know if goldfish sleep? Please tell me this thing is asleep and not....you know what.

Help is on the way:

Now, if it happens to be floating upside down, its eyes are glazed and it resembles church members when I preach, then all bets are off.

Terry, I am shocked that you have not tried it in the microwave, it seems to have worked on everything else!!! Give it a shot, I am sure that will fix it.

Tucker,

I did. I put it in for ten seconds and it sorta hic-up-ed and then tipped over. Do you think I should have left it in longer...or not that much?

The owner of Mr. Fish just came and got him. I swooshed the bowl around so that when they came into the kitchen it looked like he was swimming! Very good trick. By the time they swoosh the water by turning corners, pulling into the driveway, and parking the car, I'd say he'll float 'til past bedtime...then who knows what will be the sight tomorrow morning. It's not my fish!

This sounds like a great topic for the blog formerly known as Dusty's.
